Fig Cottage

Fig Cottage is a recently constructed flint building enclosed by a walled garden in the Wealden area. The whole property is yours alone, arranged on a single level with an open-plan living space that flows onto a terrace. There are two bedrooms—one double with its own shower room, and two singles that share a second bathroom—so four people can stay comfortably. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking, and essentials like electricity, Wi-Fi, bed linen and towels are included. Parking for two cars is on site, and there's a garden with a sitting-out area and barbecue.

East Dean village sits a short walk inland, built around a green with pubs and a deli. The wider area draws walkers to the coast and bird watchers to migrating routes. From the cottage, circular walks and longer routes begin nearby, taking in the white cliffs and the undulating shoreline beyond. No smoking inside the property. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
