The property itself is a renovated stone house arranged over three floors, sleeping six across three bedrooms—one double with ensuite shower on the first floor, and two further rooms with single beds each on the upper levels. Two bathrooms serve the property, one with a bath and shower.

Downstairs, an open-plan living and dining space includes a woodburner, and the kitchen is properly equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and microwave for self-catering. A utility room houses the washing machine and freezer. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are covered. Two parking permits are provided: one for on-road parking on Compston Street and another valid across all SLDC car parks. There is an enclosed patio at the rear.
