Fairfield Cottage

Ambleside's elevated position means Fairfield Cottage catches views across the valley and fells, with the town centre and its shops, restaurants and pubs within easy walking distance. The Lake District's main attractions—Windermere, Bowness, Grasmere—are all accessible from here, making it practical for exploring the region without being remote.

The cottage has three bedrooms sleeping six: a kingsize on the first floor, another kingsize on the second floor, and two singles also upstairs. There is one bathroom with a freestanding bath, separate shower cubicle and heated towel rail. Downstairs, a living room with fireplace and television opens to a kitchen with dining table where six can eat together. The essentials—heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi—are included. A car park on site takes one vehicle. The enclosed garden has multiple levels with steps leading to a raised patio and seating area; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed. Smoking is not permitted inside.
