Couples will find Fellside Studio an intimate base for exploring the Lake District. This ground-floor studio sleeps two and sits within a mile of Ambleside, with the River Brathay running through the grounds. The whole property is yours alone, with private parking for one car and direct access to a shared garden area.
Inside, an open-plan living space combines bedroom, kitchen and sitting room under a vaulted ceiling with skylights. A kingsize bed, comfortable seating, flatscreen TV and dining table for two make up the main room. The kitchen has an electric oven, gas hob, microwave and washing machine, allowing you to cook or simply heat through supplies. A modern bathroom contains a bath with overhead shower. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included. The cobbled sitting-out area is furnished for morning coffee or an evening drink.
The approach to the property is steep with tight bends, which may not suit low-suspension vehicles. The river lies about 10 yards from the cottage. No smoking is permitted inside.
