Hovera

Glenridding sits on the south shore of Ullswater in the Lake District National Park, with some of the region's most walked peaks on your doorstep. Helvellyn is reachable on foot from Hovera itself, and the village is threaded through by popular walking routes. The Travellers Rest is a mile away; shops and restaurants are 400 yards. Keswick, Windermere and Ambleside are short drives for a change of pace.

The cottage itself is a modern terraced property across three floors. Downstairs are a kitchen/dining room with a full range of appliances, a sitting room centred on a wood burner with views of St Sunday Crag and Fairfield, and a sun room opening onto a small patio. Bedroom 1 is a twin on the first floor (can be configured as a kingsize on request); bedroom 2 is a double with a kingsize bed on the second floor. The bathroom has both a bath and a separate shower. Wi-Fi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, along with initial logs for the burner and parking for one car. One dog is welcome. No smoking inside.
