Howgills Barn

Howgills Barn comes ready for a complete stay. Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels are all included, along with Wi-Fi and initial logs for the wood burner. The cottage sits on one level, accessed via three steps, with ground-floor living that combines a lounge, dining area and kitchen in one open space. Two super kingsize bedrooms each have their own television; one has an ensuite, the other shares a separate bathroom. Both bathrooms feature roll-top baths, walk-in showers and heated towel rails.

The kitchen is fitted for proper cooking, with an electric oven, microwave, fridge-freezer and coffee machine. The living area has a 46-inch television, Blu-ray player and wood burner. A utility room houses a washing machine and dryer. Outside, there is courtyard seating with garden furniture, a gas barbecue, and parking for two cars on site. The property uses natural spring water and does not permit smoking.

Barbon village, two miles away, has a local shop and cafe popular with walkers. Kirkby Lonsdale is nearby with pubs, restaurants and tea rooms. The location sits between the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales National Park. A travel cot and highchair are available on request.
