Langdale View opens directly into a hallway built for muddy boots and damp jackets, then a spiral staircase draws you up into the heart of the property. The open-plan living and dining room occupies the middle level, a bright space where you can spread out after a day outside, with a porch that steps onto a patio. The kitchen, separated by a door when you need to contain the chaos, holds a dishwasher, air fryer, electric oven and the usual essentials. Upstairs are two bedrooms—one with a double bed, one with two singles—served by an en-suite shower room and a family bathroom with bath and shower.

The whole valley is your playground. From the back door, you can walk up to the Langdale Pikes within a couple of miles, or head down the river to Elterwater and its pub in half a mile. Routes here suit all abilities, from gentle riverside paths to fell walks. Ambleside, Windermere and Bowness are a short drive for days when the weather turns. Ground-floor parking sits to the rear beneath a covered area, and there's space to dry wet clothes indoors. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are included; no smoking inside.
