Quarry's Edge is a converted chapel in Chapel Stile, positioned in the Langdale Valley where the landscape opens onto fell and river. The property has three bedrooms—a double and a kingsize on the first floor, a double on the lower ground floor—and two shower rooms, making it practical for a group of six. The main living space is open-plan, combining kitchen, dining and sitting areas on the ground floor, with the kitchen equipped for real cooking rather than making do. Essentials including heating, electricity, linen and towels are provided, along with wifi and free parking for two cars.

The Langdale Valley offers walking straight from the door—to Elterwater, Dungeon Ghyll, or the Langdale Pikes themselves if the weather and legs permit. Chapel Stile has a pub within a mile. Ambleside, with its restaurants and shops, is a short drive; Windermere for boat trips lies beyond. The area suits families exploring the Lake District National Park, or anyone wanting a base that doesn't require compromising on space or comfort. One dog can stay free. No smoking inside.
