Larkspur

Larkspur stands a short walk from Grasmere village centre, where you'll find shops, restaurants and a pub within a mile. The cottage is entirely on the ground floor, making it straightforward to manage if stairs are difficult. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms serve four guests: the main bedroom has a king bed with en-suite shower room, while the second bedroom offers a king that converts to twin beds if needed. Both have their own bathrooms.

The open-plan lounge and dining area looks towards Helm Crag. A woodburning stove provides warmth on cooler evenings, and there's a TV for quieter moments. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with a utility room containing a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer—useful for rinsing muddy boots and drying wet coats after fell walking. Wi-Fi and all bed linen and towels are included; heating is by electric radiators throughout. A cot is available on request. Smoking is not permitted in the property.
