Long Mynd occupies part of a converted bobbin mill estate near Ambleside, built from slate and stone to match the landscape. The apartment spreads across two floors with three bedrooms—one double with ensuite shower, two further bedrooms with single beds each—plus a family bathroom. A living and dining room, well-equipped kitchen, and lawned garden with patio complete the space. One dog is welcome.
The setting is the real draw: one and a half acres of grounds that include a fenced river running through them, with woodland walks and waterfalls nearby. Stockghyll Falls lies close by, and the town of Ambleside is within walking distance, offering the usual Lake District mix of shops, cafes and pubs. A pub is within a mile. Electricity, bed linen and towels are provided, and there is parking on site. The river, while fenced, should be considered when deciding if the property suits your group.
