Mossy Nook is one of several cottages created from the original farm buildings that once worked this corner of the Eden Valley. The conversion has kept the character of the 17th century structure—original features remain visible throughout—while providing modern comfort for a family or group of six. Three bedrooms (two doubles and a twin that converts to a king) and two bathrooms make it practical for sharing; a wood-burning stove in the main living space becomes a focal point on cooler evenings.
The cottage opens onto a private patio with garden access, and from the lounge you can watch across the grounds through full-length doors. A kitchen equipped for self-catering, wifi, bed linen and towels are all provided. The rural setting means walks begin from the doorstep into rolling countryside and nearby villages—most have a pub within a mile or so. One dog is welcome. The property is yours alone for the duration of your stay, and smoking is not permitted inside.
