Cottage 7

Cottage 7 comes fully equipped for a self-catering stay. The ground floor is an open-plan space with a kitchen that has a gas hob, electric range, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook proper meals or keep things simple. There's a living area with Freeview TV and a shower room. Upstairs are three bedrooms—one with two single beds, two with a double and a single each—plus another shower room. Gas central heating throughout, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included, along with Wi-Fi and parking for four cars on site.

The cottage sleeps eight and is yours alone for the duration of your stay. The private hot tub seats six and overlooks the lawned garden. A short drive puts you in York itself, where the Minster, Castle Museum and city walls are the main draws, along with independent shops, restaurants and cafés. The surrounding countryside has walking routes from the property, and stately homes at Castle Howard and Beningbrough Hall are within reach. Smoking is not permitted. One pet is welcome.
