Farmhouse

Farmhouse is a six-bedroom property sleeping up to 16 guests in North Yorkshire, a short drive from York city centre. The entire place is yours alone, with space enough for large gatherings, families or groups of friends. One dog is welcome.

Across two floors you get six bedrooms (three doubles, three with twin single beds plus a single), two shower rooms and a second living area with sofa beds. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric range, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer, so you can prepare meals as simple or elaborate as you like. Both living rooms have Freeview TV, DVD and CD players. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are all included. A private hot tub for six sits in the garden, and you have parking for 10 cars on site. No smoking inside the property.

The farmhouse sits within quiet countryside yet lies close enough to York that you can be in the city centre within minutes. Walking trails start from the doorstep, and the city itself has the Minster, Castle Museum, Jorvik Viking Centre, the racecourse and year-round events. Stately homes at Castle Howard and Beningbrough Hall are within reach if you want to venture further.
