Woodside Barn

Woodside Barn sits in open country on the edge of York, far enough from the city centre to feel rural but close enough that the pub is barely a mile away. The village location means quiet mornings and evening walks, yet you're minutes from everything York itself has to offer — the train station, shops, and the cathedral all lie within easy reach.

This converted barn sleeps four across two bedrooms and one bathroom. Downstairs is a kitchen where you can actually cook; upstairs, bedrooms with beds made up ready for arrival. Electricity, linen and towels come as standard. There's space to park one car. The property is yours alone — no shared facilities, no other guests. Note that children under 12 aren't suitable for this let.

It's a straightforward base for a York break: countryside quiet by day, city attractions by evening, and a local pub for supper without going far.
