A very comfortable guest house in an ideal location to see the lakes. The hosts were very welcoming and Paul even came with me in the car to show me where the parking was, which I thought was definitely going the extra mile. I also met his wife Diane, who was very pleasant. Breakfast was outstanding every morning and I was lucky enough to have the shared bathroom all to myself. I also had great views from my room window (see photos) A very enjoyable stay and many thanks to Paul and Diane for making my first visit to the Lake District so special. I would love to return and stay at Park House in the future!

Very good stay at the Park Guest House in Ambleside. The hosts are lovely and do a really great breakfast in the morning. Very helpful, welcoming and you can see that they care about what they are doing. Room was very clean and had everything you would want and more, cosy with a lovely view. The location of the property is perfect, all amenities within walking distance and Ambleside is the gateway to the Lake District.

Fantastic guest House, with friendly accommodating hosts. The breakfast will definitely fill you up with plenty of variety. I have been twice now in the first few months of 2018, the high standards of cleanliness and comfort have remained the same during each visit. Parking is scarce in the area, but I have been given my own parking space that was close to the guest house. Absolute bargain prices and in a perfect location to easily access all the Lakes have to offer.

I read the reviews about the breakfast so I was looking forward to it I got a full English the first morning it was small but nice. The next morning I asked for bacon and eggs , I got one slice of bacon and one egg considering the price of the rooms it was actually ridiculous , I got a decent size breakfast on the way home
