Burnside Cottage

You arrive at Burnside Cottage into a ground floor that opens straight into daily life—a spacious living and dining room where you can settle in front of the woodburner, or move through to a properly equipped kitchen to cook. The bathroom on this level has both a corner bath and a separate shower cubicle. Upstairs, two bedrooms sleep four: one with a kingsize bed, the other with a zip-and-link super kingsize that can be configured as two singles. Essentials are covered—electricity, heating, linen, towels and wifi are all included.

The cottage sits in Bruichladdich village on Islay's western shore, within walking distance of the distillery itself and a small shop for daily supplies. Behind the house, an enclosed rear garden with seating offers a sheltered spot overlooking the fields. There is parking for two cars on site. The nearest sandy beach is close by, and the wider island—known for birdwatching, coastal walks and whisky—spreads out from here. One dog is welcome; smoking is not.
