Caddleton Farmhouse is a five-bedroom property on the Ardmaddy Estate, a coastal setting near Oban in Argyll and Bute. The whole house is yours alone, sleeping up to 12 guests across four bathrooms. A large carport gives dry access to the games room and cloakroom, which lead into a spacious living room with an open fire. The kitchen is farmhouse-style with a low-level hob and worktops suited to group cooking. Beyond the dining and sitting areas, a conservatory overlooks the garden and sea.
The estate itself offers more than the house. You have use of a central games room with table tennis and pool, plus fishing rights on the stocked hill loch. Tennis, sailing, rowing and motorboat hire are available. Oban harbour, known as the Gateway to the Islands, is 12 miles away and serves as a departure point for boat trips to Mull, Iona, Staffa and other Inner Hebridean islands. The wider area supports horse riding, coasteering, canyoning, canoeing, diving and golf, while Fort William and Glencoe are within reach for climbing and skiing. The estate's gardens are open to the public year-round through Scotland's Gardens Scheme. Wildlife in the area includes dolphins, porpoises, otters, deer and eagles. The property is non-smoking. One pet is welcome.
