The Stables is a converted stone building with four bedrooms and two bathrooms, sleeping eight guests. Opening onto a bay with water views, the interior combines traditional character with modern comfort. All bedrooms are furnished with fitted storage, and the property has patio doors that face seaward. You have the whole place to yourselves, with wi-fi, electricity, bed linen and towels all provided. One well-behaved pet is welcome.
This part of Argyll's coast sits within a National Scenic Area, where porpoises, dolphins, otters and white-tailed eagles are regularly spotted. The immediate area is quiet, but Oban is twelve miles away with restaurants, shops and boat trips to the Inner Hebrides. Locally there is fishing on a stocked hill loch, horse riding, coasteering, canoeing and golf. Walkers and cyclists can explore forest tracks through the estate and beyond. The gardens at nearby Ardmaddy Castle open through Scotland's Gardens Scheme, and historical sites including Bonawe Iron Works and Inveraray Jail lie within reasonable driving distance.
