About Travelodge Bath City Centre Bath Spa
Walk into a room at Travelodge Bath City Centre and you get more space than the price suggests, along with an en-suite bathroom, air conditioning and a drinks facility. Rooms are spread over three floors, served by a lift, and accessible rooms are available. Upkeep is inconsistent, though, and some rooms show their wear more than others.
Breakfast is available on site, and reception is staffed around the clock, with pets welcome for those travelling with animals. The hotel occupies Westgate Buildings in the centre of Bath, putting shops, pubs, restaurants and entertainment within easy walking distance, along with the Roman Baths and Bath Spa Station. Staff are generally friendly and helpful, though not always consistently so.
Parking is not on site but chargeable parking is available five minutes' walk away at Avon Street car park, with free overnight parking between 8pm and 8am. There is also a golf course nearby for those wanting to venture a little further. With 56 rooms and rates from £35 to £150, it works well as a straightforward, well-placed base for exploring the city.

What guests say
Great place to stay. Large, clean room with amazing air conditioning. Fantastic central location so all attractions in Bath in easy walking distance. Only very mild annoyance was that staff didn't top up tea and coffee nor empty bin in room over 3 days - despite sign on door asking for this. However, i was able to obtain tea from Reception and a bin bag from cleaning staff myself. I would use this hotel again.

We stayed here for 3 days and 2 nights, mainly because we loved the location. We arrived on my birthday, the 2nd of June, at around 2:20pm after lunch. We thought we'd try our luck and ask about an early check-in, and we were pleasantly surprised when it was granted. We were warmly welcomed by a gentleman at reception who was particularly friendly, helpful, and professional. At reception, they had an A3 information sheet featuring local attractions, a map of Bath, and recommended restaurants. The receptionist happily offered us a copy to take to our room and browse at our leisure. He even asked whether we preferred a room on a higher or lower floor, which was a thoughtful touch. We opted for a lower floor room. Having stayed at other Travelodges before, I wasn't expecting this level of service, so it genuinely exceeded our expectations. When we got to our room, we found it to be spacious and comfortable. Our view overlooked the main road and a small park area, which was quite pleasant. The only downside was that the room seemed quite dusty. We noticed dust on the walls, windowsills, and even around the toilet paper holder. The airconditioning unit was a bit noisy too, and The bed was also a little too firm for our personal preference. That said, we still enjoyed our stay overall because the location is fantastic. The hotel is within easy walking distance of the city centre, cafés, restaurants, and a Tesco Express just a few steps away. There is also a convenient bus stop nearby for travel to Bristol. What really made this stay memorable was the staff. Every receptionist we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and made a point of greeting guests as they arrived and left the hotel. Their excellent customer service created a warm and pleasant atmosphere throughout our stay. Overall, despite a few minor issues, we had a very enjoyable stay and would happily consider returning in the future.

Although we've had poor experiences with Teavelodge previously, we had a really great stay at their Bath City Centre branch. Room was clean and spacious with everything we needed and the service was excellent. Will definitely use this venue again in the future.

Staying with family for 3 days ending up no cleaning for the rooms, no towels replacement unless u request as if it is Grant for u... on top, when we checked in the AC was working but not anymore for the 2nd day and we ending up with 2 small fans!!! Just be honest with ur customers and inform that ur AC would not work all days!!!!!
