About Z Hotel Bath
A glass of complimentary wine and cheese for members at the bar is one of the small perks that sets Z Hotel Bath apart from the usual city-centre stay. The bar itself is a good spot to unwind after a day of sightseeing, and with restaurants, pubs and eateries all close by on Saw Close and beyond, guests are never far from somewhere to eat.
Rooms are clean, modern and fitted with air conditioning and smart controls, along with en-suite bathrooms; family rooms and accessible rooms are also available. Some rooms are on the compact side, so this suits guests who plan to spend most of their time out exploring rather than lounging in their room. A lift serves all floors, and practical extras include free WiFi, luggage storage, laundry service and concierge assistance for anyone wanting local recommendations.
The location in Bath, Somerset, puts the Roman Baths and the wider attractions of the city within easy walking distance, and a golf course and entertainment venues are also nearby. Staff are consistently noted for being friendly and helpful, adding to a stay that offers strong value for money in a genuinely central spot.

Extremely satisfied. We visited Bath for the first time. We were greeted by very friendly and welcoming staff … Beth and Blessie were amazing!!! We immediately felt comfortable. I would recommend booking directly from their website. Rates are better and you can get a membership card which allows 10% discount on room, food and drinks. As a member, you also get free late check out (noon instead of 11)and they keep your bags until 6 p.m.… but above all, you get complimentary cheese buffet and one glass of wine/prosecco or beer daily (5-8 p.m). Complimentary coffee and tea anytime. 24/7 reception. Rooms are small but very clean, no safe in rooms but our belongings were safe. Very central and all iconic sites within walking distance. No need for taxi or buses. Seems like the rooms were sound proof, as despite the busy area and pubs around we didn’t hear a sound! Bed was a bit hard for my liking. Will definitely recommend!

Highly recommend to sign up for membership to get the best rates and nice little perks like free coffee/tea, cheese & wine. The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and not too small. Since the room I reserved didn’t have windows the air conditioning was the only source of air circulation, unfortunately it didn’t work optimally so I felt a little bit uncomfortable. Would book again but probably a room with windows.

The hotel is very basic and more suited for a night or two than a longer stay. T|he rooms are small but functional, just. No storage space and no safe in the room. When travelling I like to make sure my passport was secure but could not do that here. The soap dispenser at the sink was empty and I had to ask reception to provide toilet roll. The bar is basically a few seats beside reception and the drink choices limited to the bottles they have sitting on top of a microwave. No restaurant and the breakfast choices are extremely limited and ridiculously overpriced. I would recommend any traveller not to bother as there is a great selections of cafes within 1-2 min walk offering a better selection at a significantly cheaper price. The only thing this hotel has going for it is the location, it is perfect. So while it's one of the most basic hotels I have ever stayed in, it makes Travelodge look upmarket, I would stay there again for that alone.

I stayed here for a few nights to attend a ball in the center of Bath. I was welcomed by the staff, who were absolutely lovely, and felt very looked after. The room was perfect, lovely window and very cosy. I was going to and from the hotel in a ballgown and although I was apologetic about getting glitter (from the dress) on their floor the manager was genuinely just happy to see me so happy and dressed up! He was just the absolute sweetest and kindest man. The reception staff were so lovely too! I hope to stay here again soon 🤗 Thank you all! 🌹
