Stayed at this Hotel for a two night city break. The Hotel is at an ideal location, Reception staff were lovely throughout the stay. The room was spotlessly clean, enjoyed the breakfast and evening meal. Nice bar with a good selection of drinks friendly staff at the bar. Hotel is again a good location for shops and restaurants. Will definitely return in the near future.

I was on a short trip and this hotel was great. Across the road from the station and near to all the must see places. The staff on reception went over & above to be friendly which is always appreciated when travelling alone. The room was clean, decorated in period style tho I would have liked period prints not floral pictures but that is just me. The bathroom was spotless & plenty of tea & coffee. Breakfast was cold buffet & a variety of well cooked hot dishes. Although I was out for other meals both the daytime bar menu & evening restaurant menu were reasonable with a good selection. All together I was really happy staying there & will definitely do so again.

Great location right outside the train station. Friendly staff. Tim at reception was very helpful. Breakfast service was nice. Room was on a noisy street and with warm weather the window had to be open. Drunken revelers, some type of smoke or security alarm, and the seagulls constantly interrupted sleep. For the cost I expected better room conditions.

We had a recent stay here and really enjoyed our time in Bath. However not sure we would stay at this hotel again. Pros: very friendly and helpful staff Great location with easy walking to town center, train, shopping etc. -bedsheets, bathroom were clean Cons: we stayed here in the midst of the recent heat wave. There is no AC and the room was equipped with one very weak fan that I couldn’t stretch to a window. I was able to get another fan from the front desk but was asked to return it so the desk staff could stay cool. There is definitely an opportunity to prepare better for heat spells. -the room had a very old smell to it, likely this was made worse by the heat. -the room carpet, wall paint, mattress etc were quite dated
