We had a fantastic ride with Hyde Park Riding Stables! I'm an experienced rider, but it was only my husband's second time on a horse and his very first time riding in an English saddle. The staff did an excellent job matching us with horses that suited our experience levels. Our guide, Ashton, was outstanding—friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive throughout the ride. He made my husband feel comfortable and confident while also keeping the pace enjoyable for more experienced riders. We rode Benny and Jenson, who were both wonderful horses: gentle, well-mannered, and reliable, yet still had enough spirit to make the ride fun and engaging. All of the horses were very well cared for at the stable. Riding through Hyde Park on such lovely horses was an unforgettable experience and one of the highlights of our trip to London. Highly recommend Hyde Park Riding Stables to riders of all experience levels. We would absolutely book again the next time we're in London!

My friend and I booked a ride in Hyde Park on a friday. We had to book 2 months in advance as the stables are very popular and honestly, I can absolutely see why. We arrived slightly early and we were greeted by a friendly team. We were able to change in the toilet at the stables and get fitted for hats and boots. Our horses were Topper and Jack and we rode out with Lara on Jensen. (The boots and hats were much nicer than those of other riding establishments). The horses are really well presented and you can tell they're well looked after. We're both experienced riders but I'd done my research so I knew we'd be expected to show that we can ride after a brief period on the lead rein. We left the stables and went into Hyde Park. The park has horse lanes on the road and sandy paths for the horses to walk on. It's breathtakingly scenic. We had a gorgeous ride across the bridge, up Rotten Row, past the cavalry stables and back. We were also able to trot and canter. (Lara let us off the lead rein after 5 minutes and a brief trot). Lara was an absolute delight. Friendly, knowledgeable and it felt like we were riding out with a friend. She also told us some facts and history about parts of the park. Lara also took some fabulous videos and photos for us. This was an absolute bucket list trip that didn't disappoint. We walked back through the mews houses and Lara even nipped to the cafe next door to transfer photos as we'd forgotten to ask for them. Highly recommend Hyde Park stables and Lara is a credit to them. Thank you! ✨️

Such a fun experience, and completely worth it! Everyone was incredibly friendly, chatty, and helpful, and my horse Lemon was a dream. As a novice rider, I was kept on a very loose lead the whole time but was still able to trot and canter down Rotten Row, and didn't feel like the lead took away from my experience. I asked my guide Ava for a more educational ride and she cheerfully turned it into a workshop on the fly. For next time, I'll remember to: -Book weeks if not months in advance for a morning/weekday slot, to avoid afternoon crowds enjoying the park -Bring my own boots or at least half chaps for comfort, although they have a good range of sizing of paddock boots and helmets to borrow -Park non-riding companions at the Stablehand pub next door, so they can enjoy the horses going by while I ride The booking system definitely could benefit from some streamlining--the only way to book was to call, which presented some difficulty from abroad--and I only got a confirmation email after asking for one. However, as they only rotate in 11 horses out of their 30 on any given day, I understand the need to be more hands-on with scheduling.

Had a very Nice ride on big Barney, and My daughter om Benny. Our guide Irina was very friendly and Nice to chat with. The weather was hot, so we mostly did walk and a bit of trot. No canter, which was perfectly ok due to the Horse welfare in the high temperatur. I loved the ride and would absolutly do it again 🙂 the Stables Are small, but the horses Are taken very good Care of and Are well groomed. Big thumbs up to the Hyde park Stables from Denmark.
