The Milking Parlour is a converted barn in Towednack Parish, a couple of miles inland from Saint Ives. Two bedrooms, one bathroom, and a double Z-bed in the living room accommodate up to six guests. Everything sits on the ground floor—a practical layout that suits families and those who prefer to avoid stairs. A wood burner anchors the living space, its steady warmth offsetting the Cornish coastal climate; heating comes from an air source heat pump as well. The kitchen has an electric oven, hob, dishwasher and washing machine, so you can cook properly or keep laundry under control. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and electricity are included, along with initial fuel for the burner.
Outside, a back garden offers seating and a barbecue, and parking for three cars is on site. The property draws water from a private borehole rather than mains supply. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Towednack Church lies nearby, and from here you can reach the coastal paths that link this stretch of coast—Zennor and its Bronze Age heritage are within reach, as are the long golden beaches that draw swimmers and walkers year-round. The Tinners' Trail, an 18-mile route through mining country and moorland between Saint Ives and Cape Cornwall, starts just down the road.
