Apple Barn

Apple Barn is a detached conversion with two bedrooms and two en-suite bathrooms, sleeping four. One small dog is welcome. The ground floor holds a king bedroom and a twin, each with its own shower room and heated towel rail. Upstairs, a single open-plan space combines living, dining and kitchen areas, with a 42-inch Smart TV and Bluetooth speaker for entertainment. The kitchen is equipped to cook properly, with an electric cooker, dishwasher and microwave. Underfloor heating runs through the bedrooms and bathrooms; essentials like electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included.

A courtyard with garden furniture and patio sits outside, facing toward the surrounding fells. Skiddaw and Latrigg are accessible on foot from the property. Derwentwater—where you can sail or try other watersports—lies 2 miles away. Blencathra and Catbells are within a few miles for those who want to walk higher. Cycling routes thread through the area. There is private parking for one car on site. The barn does not accept children under eight, and smoking is not permitted.
