Oakvale - Acorn

Oakvale - Acorn is a single-storey cottage where the living space flows naturally from entrance through to garden. The open-plan living and dining areas connect via sliding doors to an enclosed patio, as does the bedroom, flooding the interior with light. The bedroom has a zip-and-link super king bed (which can be split into two singles), while the bathroom combines a bath with a rainfall shower. A kitchen with electric oven and gas hob sits within the main living area, and there is on-site parking for one car.

The cottage sits in Braithwaite village, surrounded by gardens. Keswick is two miles away, with the lake and town centre shops readily accessible. The Northern Fells offer immediate walking and mountain biking from the property, and Whinlatter visitor centre and Go Ape are nearby. The village itself has two pubs, a hotel with restaurant next door, two cafes and a shop. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and electricity are included. The property is adults only, and no smoking is permitted.
