Walks into Whinlatter Forest and across the surrounding fells start from the property itself. The village of Braithwaite has pubs and a shop within easy reach, and there's enough in the immediate area to keep a group occupied without needing to drive far. The house occupies a slightly raised position on the village edge, with views across the garden towards Skiddaw.
Stables has four bedrooms, each with twin single beds, and three bathrooms spread across three floors. The ground floor holds the kitchen, dining area, a utility room and a sitting room with a wood-burning stove. Upstairs are two further bedrooms, one with its own ensuite shower room. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering; there is a garden with seating and a small woodland area with a grassy bank. The property can accommodate eight people and provides private parking for three cars. The grounds contain an uneven patio and an unfenced pond. No smoking throughout.
