Myrtle Cottage

Two pubs sit within walking distance of Myrtle Cottage, and the Jurassic Coast is a couple of miles away by car. Golden Cap, the highest point along the south coast, lies nearby, as does West Bay with its restaurants and independent shops. Inland, Bovington Tank Museum, Monkey World and the Cerne Giant are all within reach for a day out.

The cottage itself spreads across two floors with four bedrooms sleeping seven: one double with an ensuite walk-in shower, two further doubles, and a single, served by a family bathroom with bath and shower. Downstairs, an open-plan kitchen, dining and living area opens to the garden through French doors, and there is a separate sitting room with its own television. A utility room houses a washing machine and tumble dryer. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included. An enclosed lawn with seating area and parking for two cars complete the setup. Smoking is not permitted.

The village location means you can choose between lazy days in the garden or exploring the surrounding countryside and coast. Families with children of different ages will find the flexible bedroom layout works well, and the two reception rooms give everyone space to spread out.
