Nice the recliner chairs are pretty good although for a 6ft 1 guy there are slightly too short and can stopp circulation in the calves. Saying that it was comfortable to the point I fell asleep 🤣 Cinema was like all other VUE venues. The rooms are small enough except for screen 1. On this occasion I was here for a 10.30am showing and popcorn was fresh. Ben an Jerry's scoop were generous. ( I'm looking at you Vue Stirling) I thought the screen room was a bit cold but might just be me.it really close to the train station which is great and this branch does get some more interesting stuff especially in those early morning screenings. Staff were really friendly and polite..

I’d probably rate the Vue Cinema at the Omni Centre around a 3/5 overall. It’s definitely good, and there are things about it I really like, but there are also enough issues that I wouldn’t personally rate it higher than that. The biggest positive by far is the seats. They’re honestly some of the comfiest cinema seats I’ve sat in - really roomy, reclining, and comfortable enough that it almost feels like watching a film at home, just on a massive screen. That part of the experience is excellent. That said, there are a few things that let it down. The biggest issue for me is the temperature inside the screens. A couple of times it’s been so cold that it was genuinely uncomfortable, to the point my hands felt like icicles. I’ve actually mentioned this before through the feedback emails they send out afterwards, but the response I got back was basically that the cinema is kept at that temperature intentionally because it’s supposedly “comfortable.” Personally, I do wonder if it’s partly to save money on heating. To be fair, it hasn’t happened every single visit, I’ve been around five times and I’d say only two of those visits were noticeably too cold. I’ve also had a couple of sound issues during films. When I went to see the Michael Jackson film, the volume was turned up ridiculously loud to the point it was actually uncomfortable. On another visit seeing The Drama, when I was sitting near the top right-hand side of the screen, the speaker audio seemed slightly out of sync and almost echoed, like the sound was coming slightly before it properly matched on screen. It was distracting enough that I noticed it throughout parts of the film. Another issue is that there really needs to be ushers or staff checking screens occasionally. I specifically pre-booked a certain seat because I’m disabled and that particular seat is more comfortable and suitable for me. When I got into the screen, somebody was already sitting in it, despite tickets having allocated seat numbers whether you pre-book or not. Because there were no ushers around, I had to leave the screen and find a member of staff myself. I could only find the guy scanning the tickets, so was told to wait while he found someone else, to the point that the film had already started by the time me and the member of staff got back into the screen. In the end I just said not to worry about it and took a different seat, but it wasn’t ideal. Lastly, there really need to be more bins near the screens. There’s basically one bin sitting in the corridor, but having bins outside each screen would make it much easier for people to throw away rubbish as they leave rather than leaving it inside the cinema itself. Toilets are fine, a lot of water all over the sink units but otherwise no issues. They are also plentiful with two different female bathrooms and two male ones with about 8 cubicles in each. So you won’t be waiting long. Not sure if there are disabled toilets, I did not see any near the regular toilets so you might have to ask. Overall, it’s still a decent cinema and I’ll probably continue going because the seats and general comfort are very good, but there are definitely a few operational issues that stop it from being a truly great cinema experience.

Went to see toy story 5 last night, bought the cups and bucket for toy story filled then up to get to the ticket lady and she said mines were for yesterday (been difficult few weeks) my little boy was gutted we were having a mother and son day out in the city. She told me to go to the desk. A lovely man named Jae sorted me out with tickets and the same seats. I could of cried with his kindness. ❤️‍🩹 I was expecting to pay another 30 odd quid for the deluxe seat but he was so generous. I cannot recommend this place enough the staff are such a credit to this company 👏🏻

Very clean and tidy, convenient location, enjoyed my experience very much. Just wish it had the big drinks machine like odeon where you have loads of selection, unfortunately it’s just a few different draught options for soft drinks behind their counter. Popcorn tasted good though!
