Food and service were exceptional. The wine pairing was thoughtful, well-balanced, and complemented each course beautifully. A thoroughly enjoyable dining experience from start to finish. I would highly recommend Lyla to anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience in Edinburgh.

Outstanding meal and experience; one of the best in Edinburgh. You can tell there has been so much care and thought put into every little detail at this restaurant. The bar room is beautiful with stunning views (especially in the light evenings). The food was exceptional. The cocktails and paired drinks suited everything perfectly - it was wonderful to try some new wines. What really added to the evening was having such attentive service staff. Every server took time to explain things, our Sommelier was also so knowledgeable and happy to share more information about the wines too. We would love to come back. Thank you again.

We had an amazing dinner at Lyla and would absolutely return. The seafood courses were the stars of the evening, especially the caviar dishes, scallop, langoustine, and halibut. Every course was beautifully presented and full of flavor. The service was fantastic—warm, knowledgeable, and attentive without being over the top. The pastry chef also deserves a special shoutout because the desserts were incredible and a perfect ending to the meal. For the quality of food and experience, we felt it was a great value. Definitely one of our favorite meals in Edinburgh. Highly recommend!
