Beautiful place to stay, in the deep countryside around Culross and Dunfermline

Very comfortable and quiet cottage just outside the village of Saline. Lounge, bedroom,.bathroom and kitchen area. Short 5 mile drive to Dunfermline where you can park your car for free at the railway station and hop on a train to explore Edinburgh. Stirling and Alloa are also in short driving distance. You can also explore the coast in and around Kirkcaldy, so a car is really recommended . The cottage really is in a quiet location and has a large garden and a small pond where you can sit on one of the benches and unwind. We also had a resident red squirrel that often turned up . It was a really pleasant place to stay.

Stayed here for 5 nights. Cozy, comfortable and quiet. Good break for us. Need a car to get around though and many towns within 1 hour drive.
