Dunfermline's restaurants, cafés and cinema lie fifteen minutes' drive away, while Knockhill Racing Circuit is just ten minutes further. Edinburgh, Glasgow, Stirling, Dundee and St Andrews are all within an hour. Closer to hand, the village of Saline and a pub in Comrie offer quieter options. Dunfermline Abbey, Andrew Carnegie's birthplace and Pittencreiff Park—complete with free-roaming peacocks—are worth a visit if you want to explore locally.

Pinewood Cabin is a compact, single-storey property sleeping two, reached via a private farm road through the owner's grounds. The open-plan living space combines a sitting area with dining and kitchen zones; the kitchen is equipped for proper cooking rather than holiday basics. A bedroom with a king bed and shower room complete the layout. Everything sits on one floor, and the whole place is yours alone. Bed linen, towels, wi-fi and heating are all included; parking for two cars is on site.

The real appeal is the enclosed garden with views across open fields, and the two-person hot tub where you can settle in after a day out. One small dog is welcome. No smoking inside the cabin.
