What visitors say
This place feels quite dated, and the atmosphere fell completely flat with no music playing, making the whole vibe feel rather flat! My husband also found the coffee to be bitter, and the food simply wasn't worth the price. While it tasted alright—more like something basic I could easily make at home, rather than anything out of the ordinary—we paid £50 for four people. That total covered three cheese toasties, a cheese scone, three drinks, and a very small piece of quiche that cost £9 on its own. Not good! Service was a letdown; it was poor enough that we actually watched another customer give verbal feedback walk out. On a very hot day, despite other tables being free near the garden, we were tucked away in a corner on the first floor with ventilation only coming from the front door. While the young servers were nice enough, when I went to pay, an older staff member curtly asked, "What do you want to do now?"—even though I had just been directed to go there to pay. While the restaurant was clean, the whole experience felt odd and disjointed. I would not return.

A must for the cutesy girls!! Me and my Mum had a great time feeling like princess fairies 🧚 . Menu surprisingly bigger than you’d think so there’s something for everyone!

Service is very slow, it took more than 20 min until someone came to take our order. The back garden is very beautiful worth sitting to eat or drink. We enjoyed our drinks.

Really great tea shop. The lunch was very tasty and the gunpowder green tea was excellent. The decorations and colour are like from a story book. Overall, a very memorable and relaxing experience.

People say this tea room offers delicious cream teas with freshly baked scones and a wide variety of menu options, including homemade soup and crab sandwiches. They also highlight the charming, themed decor, especially the fairy garden, and the friendly, accommodating staff. Visitors mention it's a great place for families with children and that proceeds go to charity.
