Built over a century ago as a residence for a Lord Mayor of London, this former Victorian manor occupies a clifftop position on the Isle of Wight. The building has since been thoughtfully converted into separate apartments while retaining period character, with oak furnishings and leather seating throughout. Highlands Apartment 2 is situated on the ground floor, accessed through a shared entrance, and comes with the run of a shared garden where views stretch across the coast, town and countryside beyond.
The apartment sleeps five across three bedrooms: a double with ensuite shower, and two further singles. There is also a second full bathroom with bath and shower. The ground floor layout keeps everything on one level, with a curved living room flowing into the kitchen and dining space. You have a full kitchen for self-catering, including dishwasher and washing machine, plus a television, DVD player and WiFi. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with electricity. The property is non-smoking.
Shanklin beach lies half a mile away. Parking is available on site. Check-in is after 4pm, departure before 9am.
