Absolutely superb, Colin and Lesley have thought of every little detail for your comfort. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable. The whole guest house is tastefully decorated. You can top up your milk, coffee and tea whenever you want for your room without having to ask. Fresh water is always on tap. The breakfasts are delicious, so much choice 😊 and cooked really well. Sara is very helpful as were Colin and Lesley. It's in a nice quiet location but close to the old town with restaurants and a short walk to the beach. I cannot recommend it highly enough. Thank you all for your hospitality. Wishing you good luck for the future, you deserve it. Perhaps we will see you again soon Love Angie and Tim xxx

We arrived after a long flight from Australia and checked in at the Birkdale Guest House. From the minute we were greeted by Colin and Lesley we felt right at home at this venue. Our room was spacious, comfortable and had lovely decor. Everything was so clean and fresh including the spacious bathroom with it's large soft towels and a heated towel rail! The choices for breakfast were amazing, just so many and the food was delicious! The fruit salad was definitely the best fruit salad I've ever had! We loved the little extras in the room like homemade biscuits and local lollies! Birkdale Guest House is in a great location to access the old village with lots of eateries within a short walk, also close to Shanklin Chine and the beautiful Esplanade. The local buses are efficient and frequent and also very close by, if like us, you don't have a car. We couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay on our arrival into the UK and so glad we chose to visit the Isle of Wight. Thank you Lesley and Colin.

We were recommended by friends and weren't disappointed! Fabulous rooms, decor. Very clean Large breakfast selection - something for everyone and beautifully presented. Fridge in room. Access to bottled milk and water anytime of day and night from breakfast room fridge. Only 6 rooms so no noise. Lesley and Colin great hosts. Couldn't recommend highly enough and cheaper ferry if you book direct!
