Ty Ni

Ty Ni is a Grade II listed cottage sleeping six, a short walk from Bala town centre and positioned to use Lake Bala—Wales's largest freshwater lake—as your base for exploration. The property spreads across three floors: ground level holds the kitchen and dining room; the first floor has the living room and a double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom; the second floor contains two further bedrooms, one double and one twin. An enclosed courtyard and sitting-out area back onto the property.

The kitchen is equipped for cooking proper meals, with both electric and gas hobs, a fridge-freezer and washing machine. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with Wi-Fi and electricity; heating is by gas central system. One dog stays free. The cottage takes no smoking. Free parking is available on site, fifty yards from the door.

Bala itself has cafés, restaurants, a leisure centre and access to water sports on the lake—paddle boards and kayaks hire locally. The Whitewater Rafting Centre at Tryweryn lies close by for canoeing and rafting. The surrounding Snowdonia landscape offers serious walking and climbing; the Coed y Brenin mountain biking hub is thirty minutes' drive away. Coastal towns and beaches at Barmouth and Harlech are under an hour away by car.
