Mole Cottage works well for families or small groups needing space without complications. Three bedrooms sleep seven across a detached 1920s cottage in Luccombe village: a kingsize with ensuite upstairs, a kingsize and a single also upstairs, and a double on the ground floor. Two bathrooms mean mornings are manageable. The ground floor has a living and dining area with television and DVD player, patio doors opening to an enclosed garden, and a kitchen fitted with an electric oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. Bed linen, towels, Wi-Fi and heating are included.
The garden has a terrace, furniture and a barbecue for summer entertaining. On-site parking takes two cars, and a bike store is available. The Isle of Wight Coast Path runs nearby for walking. Shanklin's shops, pubs and tea rooms in the Old Village are a ten-minute drive away; the beach and seafront attractions, including the amusement arcades and cafés, lie half a mile down the cliff path. Note that there is a garden step, and no smoking is allowed inside. Children are welcome.
