Priory Apartment is a ground-floor conversion within a Victorian house, where you step straight into an open-plan living space that flows from the sitting area through to the kitchen and dining zone. French doors open onto a decked terrace where you can sit with views across to the sea. The layout keeps everything on one level, which suits families and those who prefer to avoid stairs during their stay.
You have two bedrooms: one with a double bed and an ensuite shower, the other with two single beds. A separate bathroom serves the second bedroom. The kitchen is equipped for self-catering, with an electric oven, gas hob, dishwasher and washing machine. Heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are included; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed. There is parking for two cars on site and a shared two-acre woodland area with the other apartments in the building.
Shanklin is a working seaside resort on the south coast, with a beach, the Esplanade and cliff-top walks within easy reach. The town centre, where you'll find restaurants, pubs and shops, is about a mile away. Day trips to other parts of the island—Sandown, Godshill, Ryde and Cowes—are straightforward by bus or train. No smoking indoors.
