What visitors say
A lushious and vast amount of green, with lots of flora and fauna to boot! Abington Park in Northampton is well known in the area as being one of the best outdoor spaces to relax; play football or enjoy the play area with the children, walk the dog, meander around the aviary or to just sit on a bench eating an ice cream. There is also a suitably positioned museum and cafe in the centre of the park with a pond to feed the ducks within close proximity to the roadside. A must see in any weather, but on a beautiful and sunny spring day, like today, it was an absolute sight for sore eyes. I am now well and truly in my zen!

Been coming to this park for a couple of years now and I love it! It’s big enough for a lovely long walk or run. The small gym area needs to have some work but other than that, it’s great! Lovely big pond area, church and a bird sanctuary. I piped up for the sunrise on Christmas morning and it was beautiful!!

My favourite place to be. Such a beautiful park, I love coming here to cruise on my bike, play activities (although I recently mashed my ligaments playing tennis 😅), and to simply hang out, plus there's loads of different species of trees! Family friendly place, there's usually a brass band on Sunday in the bandstand, spots to skateboard, the museum is okay too, not fussed by the cafe though, the charge a bomb and the owner is a little big headed 😉
