About Citadines City Centre Liverpool
Citadines City Centre Liverpool gives guests a proper apartment rather than a standard hotel room, with a full kitchen fitted with appliances including a washing machine, plus air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available across the 100 rooms, and each comes with free WiFi and drinks in the room, making it easy to settle in whether you're staying a couple of nights or longer.
Downstairs there's breakfast on offer, along with a gym, laundry service, luggage storage and a lift to all floors. Business travellers are covered too, with meeting rooms and business services on site, and concierge staff on hand to help with local recommendations. There's no parking at the property, so it suits guests arriving by train or without a car.
The address on Church Street puts guests within easy reach of Royal Albert Dock and Liverpool ONE, with pubs, restaurants and entertainment all nearby. Staff are generally described as friendly and helpful, though a few guests have found service inconsistent, so it's worth going in with the expectation of a well-equipped, self-catering base rather than a full-service luxury stay.

What guests say
We had a very good stay at this hotel. The cleanliness was outstanding—extremely clean and well maintained throughout the property. The location was also excellent, with everything within easy walking distance. It was less than a 5-minute walk to the city centre, the station, and Matthew Street, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the city. The staff were very polite and professional, always helpful and respectful. Overall, it was a comfortable stay with great accessibility and excellent service.

We had a lovely stay at Citadines by Ascott, and I wanted to thank all of the wonderful staff for their kindness. Unfortunately, a couple of things went wrong during our stay. The mattress in our first room was stained, so we were moved straight away without any fuss. Later, the casting on the TV wasn't working, but the maintenance team were so friendly and quickly came to help. What really stood out was how much the staff cared. They left us a lovely apology letter with a box of chocolates, which made my 20-year-old autistic daughter so happy. It was such a thoughtful gesture and really cheered her up. On our checkout day, the staff noticed I was struggling to get my daughter ready to leave by 11am, and they very kindly gave us an extra hour before checkout. That understanding and compassion meant so much to us. I also want to mention the accessible room. It was incredibly spacious and one of the best disabled rooms I've stayed in, with excellent accessibility. Things can sometimes go wrong anywhere, but it's how a hotel deals with them that really matters. The staff went above and beyond to make things right, and because of that, we would happily stay here again. Thank you to everyone for making us feel so welcome.

We were in Liverpool for a mini-family reunion. First time at a Citadines. It was great! Location is superb for the city center. Everyone was super friendly. Liz at the front desk is a 100% rockstar!! 🤩 She went out of her way to make our visit amazing.

I've been to Liverpool many times now but this experience has been the best one so far. The staff is incredibly helpful. I do understand why Liz has been mentioned everywhere so many times, she's incredible. However, there are so many other helpful people as well and very kind too. Anna and Imran helped me greatly too, two friendly gents of the night shift and let's not forget Bill and Brian from maintenance! The one-bedroom apartment I stayed in was very spacious and I fully used it to work remotely. The Internet connection was better than expected and everything you needed was there in the kitchen. With the central location in the city centre, there was always a good food option nearby (the reception helped me with some good recommendations too). It won't be the last time for me in Liverpool and definitely won't be the last time at this accommodation for sure.
