About Byron Hotel London

Queensborough Terrace is a quiet residential street in Bayswater, lined with tall Victorian townhouses, and it's here that Byron Hotel London occupies two of them, joined together to form a single 45-room hotel with a period character intact. London Paddington station is under a mile away, making the hotel a practical base for arriving by train or heading out to the rest of the city.

Rooms are traditionally decorated with a warm, homely feel, and the hotel also has a suite for guests wanting extra space. There's a lift for easier access to upper floors, and a bar on site for a drink at the end of the day, along with in-room drinks and breakfast to start the morning. Free WiFi, luggage storage, concierge services and meeting rooms are all available, and airport transfers can be arranged. Free on-site parking is a useful extra for anyone driving into London.

Beyond the front door, Bayswater has plenty of restaurants, pubs and other eateries within easy walking distance, along with nearby entertainment options for evenings out. Windsor Great Park lies further afield for a day trip out of the city, while the surrounding streets of townhouses give the immediate area a settled, residential feel rather than a tourist strip.

My stay at The Byron Hotel was not just a typical hotel stay; it was an exceptional experience by every measure. Usually, in most hotels I visit, you might encounter one or two staff members who provide good service while the rest of the experience remains average. But at The Byron, things are completely different and extraordinarily rare! Every single staff member, without exception—from the moment of arrival until departure—operates at the highest level of professionalism and warmth. What truly sets this place apart is the genuine sense of warmth. You aren't just interacting with a team doing their job; you genuinely feel like you are surrounded by family, all living in one home. The atmosphere of the hotel is filled with positivity and sincere care for every detail. Even if you encounter a minor issue or bump in the road, you won't get empty excuses or typical justifications like in other places. Instead, you truly feel that they share the problem with you wholeheartedly and take ownership of it as if it were their own, working with real care and dedication to find the best solution immediately. This feeling of genuine care and warm hospitality is what makes The Byron my absolute top choice without hesitation. Thank you to the entire team for this hospitality masterpiece!

I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Byron. The hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable, and the bed was especially comfortable after long days in London. The location is excellent—on a quiet street but still just a few minutes’ walk from two train lines, making it very easy to get around the city. It is also only a short taxi ride from Paddington, which made arrival and departure simple. This is officially my go-to hotel whenever I visit London.

Brilliant stay at Byron Hotel. Service was excellent, staff were very helpful with any questions we had. Room was clean, with very good air conditioning. Location is also fantastic, only a 3 minute walk to nearest tube station. Would highly recommend.

Beyond Numbers

We had a lovely stay at Byron Hotel. The hotel is beautiful, comfortable, and very well located in Central London. The location is one of its biggest strengths — it is close to Queensway, Bayswater, and Paddington stations, which made travelling around London very convenient. Hyde Park is just a short walk away, and many of London’s popular areas and attractions are easily accessible from the hotel. It felt like a perfect base for exploring the city while still being in a pleasant and peaceful neighbourhood. The hosts and staff were very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. A special mention to Adriana, who was very kind, warm, and professional. Her hospitality made the experience even better. Overall, Byron Hotel is a great choice for anyone looking for a comfortable stay in a fantastic Central London location. We would happily recommend it.
