Rooms come with en-suite bathrooms that have been recently modernised, along with drinks available in room and family rooms for those travelling with children. Breakfast is served on site, and free WiFi and luggage storage are included, with concierge services on hand to help with local recommendations. My family and I stayed here after very serious problems with another establishment we booked through Booking.com. The platform (which I won’t be using ever again) sent us here because they supposedly had no other hotel we could stay at, and the prices here were absurdly high. The place only had stairs and the steps were very narrow. The first room we stayed at was very dirty: there were all sorts of stains on the walls (including mucus, coffee stains and more), the floors were dirty, and the towels had holes and stains. To top it all off, the shower didn’t work properly: the water temperature was extremely and dangerously high and there was no way of showering. They said they’d fix it but were unable to, so we spent a couple of days without being able to bathe. After insisting, they changed us to a different room which was an improvement, but still left a lot of things to be desired… The staff members were kind, but the service itself was shoddy.

Avoid at all costs – serious cleanliness and safety concerns I booked two rooms for a special trip to see Harry Styles and can honestly say this was the worst hotel experience I have ever had. Upon arrival, my sister’s room had clearly not been cleaned. There were wet towels on the bed, used tissues, rubbish, pubic hairs on the toilet seat, and the bedding was in complete disarray. When we reported this to reception, we were initially told the room had been cleaned until we showed video evidence. We were then moved between several different rooms. One room smelt strongly of cigarette smoke and had used condom wrappers on the floor. Other rooms appeared dirty, poorly maintained, and unhygienic. We found what appeared to be bugs on the bed, flies throughout the room, dirty and damp toilet facilities, a leaking toilet, a strong smell of urine, and numerous broken fixtures. Despite raising our concerns immediately, we were unable to find alternative accommodation because hotels in the area were either fully booked or charging extremely high prices due to the Harry Styles event. We felt trapped with no suitable alternative. After returning later that evening, we no longer felt safe staying at the hotel. One of the rooms still smelt strongly of smoke, and it appeared that somebody had entered while we were out, as lights had been switched on and items appeared to have been moved. At that point, we decided we could not stay. We checked out shortly after midnight and were forced to drive more than three hours home. We were so tired that we had to stop and sleep at a motorway service station before continuing our journey. I have photographs and videos of the conditions we encountered because they were genuinely hard to believe. In my opinion, the rooms presented a serious hygiene concern and did not meet even basic standards of cleanliness or guest safety. This hotel completely ruined what should have been a memorable weekend away. I would strongly recommend that anyone considering staying here reads recent reviews very carefully before booking. £140 to stay here during harry styles weekend

Overall not a great experience, toilet seat is completely broken and not cleaned down at all. Lino is warped as if its been water damaged. Walls are filthy, cigarette burn marks in blankets and curtains, kettles broken. Mixed thoughts on the mattress. Window latch is falling off. The service was the redeeming factor. Gentlemen at the front desk were lovely and helpful. Ultimately this is cheap and nasty but its somewhere to lay your head for the night for a cheap price

If it was possible to give no star then that is what I would have given. We arrived on the 12th June, a group of 4 with 2 double rooms booked. We had travelled 3.5 hours to stay in London to go to Wembley for a concert - all excited for a fun filled weekend. This hotel spoilt that for us, to the point we felt we couldn’t stay due to extreme concerns for hygiene and safety. We drove 3.5 hours home, setting off at midnight, all extremely tired. On arrival, the cleaner showed us to mine and my partners room. We thought we were on a wind up. We were first hit by the strong smell of smoke. The bed wasn’t made, all sheets dirty and thrown all over. A wet towel on the bed, a wet towel thrown in the shower, half drunk bottle of water on the side, bathroom bin full, tissues at the side of the kettle with yellow crusty what I can only presume bodily fluids on. I phoned my sister who was also staying and was five minutes from arriving. I showed her the room and she was appalled. We immediately went to reception, showed the staff member behind the desk the pictures we had just taken. He was rude and began to argue that the room had been cleaned. He then asked the cleaner if he had cleaned room 7 and the cleaners reply was “no”. Baring in mind, it was the cleaner who showed us to the room. The guy on reception then offered us another room on the bottom floor. This room also stank of smoke, the kettle in the room had old food stains stuck on it, the table legs were ready to break at any point and the bathroom was full of damp/mould. My sister was shown to her room which appeared tidy but not clean. That was until she walked to the side of the bed and found an open condom wrapper on the floor. We were all disgusted and put our bags back in the car, turned the lights off and waited in the car park for a taxi to Wembley, already decided we would not stay here and would return the keys when we went back for our cars. On waiting in the car park, there was open wrappers of “black man’s vitality” in the car park (viagra). I genuinely believe this place is somewhere that is booked by the hour rather than the night. Disgusting. After the concert we went back to the hotel to hand the keys in to reception. We were gobsmacked to find that our room, next to reception on the bottom floor had the lights on (we had turned these off) and an even stronger stench of smoke. I strongly believe someone had been in that room whilst we were out. We have since complained to booking.com regarding these issues, provided photographic evidence, to no avail. Booking.com state that the hotel claim we never complained and also stayed the full night! They will have cctv of us returning our keys at around midnight. I would avoid this “hotel” like the plague. Rude staff, unfit and vile cleanliness and not willing to take accountability - despite the cleaner admitting that the rooms weren’t cleaned.
