About Holiday Inn Express London Luton Airport
For anyone with a dawn flight to catch or a late arrival to sleep off, Holiday Inn Express London Luton Airport is built around exactly that kind of trip. It's a straightforward, no-fuss base in Luton with 154 rooms, well insulated against noise, and each with an en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. Family rooms and accessible rooms are available, and the airport itself is within walking distance, so there's no need to factor in a taxi or shuttle transfer.
Breakfast is a proper spread of hot and cold options, useful whether you're fuelling up before an early departure or easing into the day after a late one. There's also a restaurant and bar on site, a snack bar for anything quicker, and kids meals for travelling families. Staff are consistently described as friendly and helpful, which counts for a lot when you're passing through rather than settling in. Meeting rooms and lift access add to the practical, functional feel of the place.
Beyond the airport link, there's a pub, restaurant and golf course nearby for those with a little more time on their hands, and pets are welcome for anyone travelling with an animal in tow. On-site parking is available but chargeable, and worth factoring into the overall cost if you're driving in and flying out.
What guests say
Arrived yesterday evening with two kids to a room with a really bad smell of mold. We're moved to a different room in which the air con barely worked. The answer we received from the manager was ridiculously absurd. Miss Ashley told us that the Holiday inn hotel does not have an air condition at all. Apparently it's a entirely different system that does not supposed to blow cold wind into the room. Interestingly enough, the air con was working fine in the first room and in the lobby. To make matter worse she recommended us to look for a different hotel. That's the worst service I have ever experienced in a hotel. It was appalling. Also, the flush nob in the toilet was loose, my kid couldn't flush, and the water stream is low, both in toilet and shower.

This was my second visit to this hotel - about ten years after my first - and it’s just as great as I remembered. A friend and I booked a twin room for one night, and everything was spot on: the beds were surprisingly large and very comfortable, the room was spotless, the service was courteous, and I was genuinely surprised to find that breakfast is available as early as 3 a.m.! If I had to mention one small downside, it’s that the restaurant’s evening service can take around an hour and a half. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but families might find it a bit long. To be fair, they do note that 7 p.m. is their busiest time, and the airport is only an 8–10 minute walk away - so you can always grab something there or order takeaway. I’ll definitely keep coming back on future visits - it’s well worth every penny.

Couldn’t fault it!! We had a lovely welcome from Mark, who checked us in swiftly, after a late flight. Room was spotless, bed was comfy and the shower was powerful. Breakfast was fine the next morning and only a short walk to the Dart/airport.

Very good and convenient hotel that we use on a regular basis. Rooms are always clean and comfortable with friendly and welcoming staff. A buffet breakfast is included and plentiful with a good choice of hot and cold dishes. A special mention to Deano who helped sort a small hiccup with our dinner on this stay. Great customer service and representative of the hotel. Thank you and highly recommended.
