In general, our stay was okay. The location is excellent for the airport – only about a 15-minute walk or a 5-minute taxi or bus ride away. The room was very quiet, which was a big plus. We had a great night’s sleep and didn’t hear any noise from other guests. The room was equipped with everything we needed, and the reception staff were happy to provide any additional items upon request. The main disappointment was the breakfast, which we had included in our booking. At check-in, the receptionist informed us that breakfast starts at 3:30 a.m. However, when we went down at 5:10 a.m., there was no hot food available – only pastries, bread, coffee, and juice. This is not about being overly fussy; it is about receiving what was advertised and what we were told to expect. The staff member on duty was polite and apologetic, explaining that we would need to wait around 25 minutes for the hot breakfast items (omelettes, sausages, bacon, etc.) to be ready. Unfortunately, we did not have enough time to wait as we had an early flight. We appreciate honesty and clear communication, as this would have allowed us to make alternative arrangements and avoid additional unexpected expenses. Overall, the hotel served its purpose well for an airport stay, but the breakfast experience was disappointing.

Our experience at the holiday inn was hassle free and perfect for our early morning flight, it only took us 10 minutes to get to the airport walking and the beds were relatively comfy. I’d recommend getting the DART from Luton airport Parkway station if coming by train in order to have a flat walk, otherwise the hill is very steep with bags. Also the service we received was excellent from the front desk staff, they were super friendly both checking in and out, especially Jessica thanks you for accommodating our extra requests.

Excellent room, very clean, good amenities. The restaurant was great, with good food and service. Big shout out to Maria who provided amazing service and was lovely. The reception staff were friendly too. The bus from the hotel to the airport costs £2. Overall, an excellent stay.

Clean! No noise at all from the airport. Bright colours and light which give a good athmosphere. Spacious room. Nice breakfast. Thank you very much Christine for such a nice welcome at the breakfast 😊 Very convinient arriving/departing at Luton Airport, with a bus stop in front of the hotel. 5 minutes bus ride/15 minutes walk. I will return for sure!
