Stayed to nights so could go to near by festival. 4 adults 1 teen. Rooms 9 and 5. Room 5 needs more ventilation was like a sauna. Room 9 slightly noisy as on ground floor by reception/entrance to bar/restaurant but nothing a pair of ear plugs couldn't handle. Place clean and welcoming . Staff friendly and helpful.

Visited the king william for lunch for my friends birthday , ordered a bottle of prosseco, when it was brought to the table we recognised the label as one from asda . When the bill came we were charged £26 for it .It costs £6 to buy in asda !!!! My friend emailed the manager about it, who admitted that it was from asda and said they had run out of their normal supply so bought some from asda, she apologised and said they had to charge that to cover overheads . Disgusting, charging £26 for a £6 pound cheap one. Will not be visiting again 😠

I made my booking via booking.com & I completely made an arse of it……we arrived on our intended dates but I’d booked a whole year out & was booked for 2026 not 2025…..thankfully the hotel manager was on the ball & got it sorted within minutes of our arrival. We where down for a weekend in London but wanted to stay near the airport incase of any sudden issues back home so the King William hotel was ideal for us with its location being only a quick taxi/uber trip from the airport & train stations. The staff were lovely & made us feel welcome, the food was lovely too…..I would gladly book again.
