About Premier Inn Luton Town Centre
A cooked breakfast and an on-site restaurant menu set the tone at Premier Inn Luton Town Centre, a 120-room hotel on Regent Street. The food gets a good word from those who stay, and with a bar area for evening drinks in the room too, it covers the basics of an overnight stop well.
Rooms are of the reliable Premier Inn standard, with comfy beds and en-suite bathrooms, spread across six floors served by a lift, with accessible rooms also available. Staff are on hand around the clock at the 24 hour reception, and the service on offer is frequently singled out as friendly and helpful.
The hotel sits in Luton town centre, within reach of the station, airport and shops, with a pub or bar nearby and entertainment options close by too. Free on-site parking is provided, though some guests have found spaces harder to come by at busier times.
What guests say
Stayed at Premier Inn, Luton Town for 1 night, which was definitely enough. Bed was clean and very comfortable. Carpet stained and not hoovered. Furniture chipped and should be disposed of. Floor of shower near toilet smelt of pee, step going into shower from bedroom was dangerous. Main corridors, carpet area hadn’t been hoovered. Overall the hotel is in a state of disrepair and wouldn’t be surprised if it closes. Breakfast was bad, so sorry to have paid for full cooked breakfast, presentation was awful, bread stale. Definitely hope I never have to use that hotel again.

Free parking next to hotel however downgrade from the last Premier Inn we stayed at, shower room as opposed to Bath in a family room. 2 bath towels for 3 people and the thermostat was broken so we couldn't adjust the temperature. The most disappointing part was the breakfast as there were no croissants, pain au chocolate or muffins etc. Other Premier Inn offer much better selection, thankfully we had booked the full breakfast so we were able to eat some of the cooked breakfast.

Be careful parking. I’ve received a fine from NCP which is the parking included with my premier inn booking. I booked the hotel through holiday extras including parking. At the hotel, the receptionist assured me multiple times that all I needed was to provide my vehicle registration and whether I had parked at regent street or the old court house. A few weeks later I have received a £100 fine, reduced to £60 if paid in 2 weeks. I’ve tried to appeal this with attachments of my bookings which states parking included and explained the situation. Their response was that the parking charge notice has been correctly issued as I was in breach of the T&Cs and should have paid directly in the car park upon arrival. I’ve tried to contact Premier Inn Luton Town Centre but no answer. It looks like I’m having to take the hit on the parking charge myself! Absolute joke.

BED BUGS & SEWAGE. I recently stayed at this hotel on a business trip, and unfortunately had a very concerning experience. During my visit, I suffered multiple bed bug bites, which led to a skin infection requiring a course of antibiotics. This raised serious concerns about the cleanliness and hygiene standards being maintained. What is particularly disappointing is that despite raising the issue, Premier Inn has not accepted responsibility or provided a satisfactory resolution. Guests should feel safe and protected during their stay, and this experience fell well below that expectation.
