Bernie's Watch is comprehensively equipped for a week away. The kitchen has a dishwasher, air fryer, slow cooker and coffee machine, so cooking ranges from simple to ambitious. Upstairs, the main bedroom offers an ensuite with shower; a second bedroom has a double bed; the third has zip-and-link singles. Two bathrooms serve the three bedrooms. Downstairs, the living room includes a sofa bed and smart TV. The house provides bed linen, towels, wifi and heating as standard, plus a welcome pack on arrival.

The property stands on White Leys Recreation Ground near Whitby, backing onto open green space with the clifftop footpath and beach within walking distance. The Cinder Track—a public path following the old railway route—runs nearby, connecting walkers and cyclists to Robin Hood's Bay and Ravenscar. An enclosed rear garden with gas BBQ and garden furniture faces the moors; a bike store and electric car charging point are available. Private parking accommodates three vehicles. The house is a short walk from Whitby itself, making it a base for exploring the coast or venturing into the North York Moors. One dog can stay free; smoking is not permitted.
