Cobb’s Cottage
North Yorkshire
This terraced cottage began life as a miner's home in the 19th century and retains that period character, though the interior is thoroughly modern. Ground floor holds the living and dining space, kitchen, and shower room; three bedrooms are upstairs. One is a double, the other two are singles. The cottage sits on a single step from street level and has a small front garden and rear patio with space for one car on site.
The kitchen is equipped for self-catering with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. Wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels are all included. A pub and shop are within a mile, and Esk Valley offers direct access to moorland walking routes and the North York Moors Steam Railway. Whitby is a short drive away; the coast lies 9½ miles south. The property does have open, steep spiral stairs and is non-smoking.
