Steamview Cottage
North Yorkshire
The Esk Valley is quiet countryside where the North York Moors railway runs through, and steam trains pass regularly throughout the day. Steamview Cottage sits right beside the line, making it an obvious draw for anyone with an interest in heritage railways. The village of Egton, about two miles away, has several pubs serving food. One sits within a mile of the property itself.
The cottage is a terraced house with two bedrooms—one double, one with two singles—and a shower room. Downstairs, the living room has an open fire and television, while the kitchen and dining space hold everything needed for self-catering: oven, hob, microwave and fridge-freezer. A utility room contains the washing machine. Bed linen and towels are provided, along with initial fuel for the fire. The cottage has a small front garden with a seating area and a larger rear garden suitable for barbecues. There is parking for one car.
The property sleeps four and welcomes one well-behaved pet at no extra charge. It is non-smoking. Children and dogs both find plenty to do in the gardens and surrounding valley walks.
