Killerby Old Hall - Dovecote House

Dovecote House is a substantial period cottage at Killerby Old Hall, a small cluster of holiday properties set in four acres of North Yorkshire countryside. The building retains character throughout, with seven bedrooms spread across two floors offering flexible sleeping arrangements: a kingsize and five doubles (some with garden access), plus bunks for younger guests. Three bathrooms serve the property, and the ground floor includes two living spaces with Smart TVs, a dining room, and a kitchen equipped for cooking from scratch.

The enclosed garden has patio furniture and lawn space, while your private hot tub seats six. The wider grounds are shared with other cottages on-site and include a children's play area and a heated swimming pool open from 08:00 to 20:00. Essentials like heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi are included; the kitchen is fully set up for self-catering. A tumble dryer in the external utility room and parking for three cars are available. Note that there is an unfenced pond in the grounds some distance away, and smoking is not permitted.

Cayton Bay is less than two miles away, making this a base for both beach time and exploring the North Yorkshire coast. The on-site barn functions as a bar open Friday and Saturday evenings if you prefer not to cook one night.
