Killerby Old Hall is a substantial property sleeping ten across four bedrooms, each with its own bathroom. The house spreads across three floors, with a kitchen and two separate living spaces on the ground level—one with a woodburner, the other suited to dining. Bedrooms range from a four-poster double to a super kingsize with a sleigh bed that splits into two singles, all with televisions and en-suite facilities combining baths and showers.
The property sits within grounds that include a private hot tub for eight and an enclosed garden with outdoor seating. Guests also have access to a shared indoor heated swimming pool measuring 9m by 6m, available between 8am and 8pm. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, and essentials including electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wifi are all covered; the woodburner's initial fuel is provided too. Parking for six cars is available on-site, and there is an unfenced pond 400 yards away in the grounds.
This works as a base for exploring the Scarborough coast and surrounding North Yorkshire countryside. The property is non-smoking throughout. The entrance involves six steps, and there are additional steps accessing the garden.

First time staying in the lakeside lodges. Had a lovely stay. Location is great- beautiful clean site-lodge was spotless & everything has been thought of. The lodge was extremely hot as was hot outside so we were glad we took a fan. Great smart tv in The lodge. Lots of ducks & rabbits around. Such a peaceful stay. Beds & pillows were really comfy. We didn’t use the pool but is great there is one on site. We were gutted that the restaurant was closed for food mon-Wednesday and it was a shame as we were hoping to eat in there. We did have a drink there though-the lady serving was lovely & great price for the drinks. The building inside is stunning. We would definitely stay again & would love to try the cottage or the hall next time.

No bedding provided for the bunk beds, hot plate almost impossible to use, space absolutely tiny. Did not see a single member of staff all weekend. At nearly £200/night it was overpriced & underwhelming. Would not return or recommend.

Tourind caravan pitch was large and wide. Car parked nicely next to the caravan, although they had a big public car park near by, as the bar/restaurant was open to everyone at the site and visitors/punlic too. Staff are super friendly and welcoming and the food was superb and we enjoyed the cocktails too. 10/10 recommend.

We stayed in Dovecote Cottage: Positive: 1 - Friendly staff. 2- Clean warm rooms. Negative: 1- No information on how to operate the dishwasher. Unable to Google operating instructions as the make was not on it. 2-The step down to the patio on which the hot tub was located was loose, and needs securing. 3-The large outdoor rubbish wheelie bins were overflowing with black bin bags some of which had torn open with food waste on the floor.
